Jun 29, 2006 - NEW YORK (Reuters) - Tenet Healthcare Corp. said on Thursday it will pay $725 million over four years to settle allegations it over-billed the U.S. health insurance program for the elderly.

The Dallas hospital chain also agreed to waive its right to pursue receipt of $175 million in certain Medicare payments for past services, the company said.
