Adan Andrade, 36, of Holland, Mich., was charged Oct. 30 with driving while intoxicated by patrolmen T. McGowan and N. Pellerito. A 23-year-old Lakewood man was charged in the incident with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

Craig C. Moir, 31, of Lakewood was charged Oct. 29 with robbery and possession of drug paraphernalia by patrolmen Kevin P. Cherney and Joseph Winowski.

A-36-year old Staten Island, N.Y., man was charged Oct. 29 with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana by patrolmen William Gallo Jr. and Daniel Valentine.

A 30-year-old woman and a 13-year-old boy, both from Jackson, were charged Oct. 28 with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and obstructing the administration of justice by patrolmen George Burdge III and Keith Duncan.

A 23-year-old Morristown woman was charged Oct. 23 with an outstanding motor-vehicle warrant and hindering apprehension by Patrolman Shawn Bailey.

Lisa Vento, 22, of Hazlet was charged Oct. 25 with theft of $325.38 from the cash register while an employee at Five Below. Patrolman Jon Holmes was the arresting officer.

Reginald Bookman, 39, of Perth Amboy was charged Oct. 27 with theft by deception and credit-card fraud, making more than $2,000 in purchases while working at Lucent Technology Fitness Center. Detective Eric Hernando and Patrolman James Archinaco were the arresting officers.

Kanwal Khan, 30, of Toms River was charged Oct. 26 with shoplifting $1,218.32 worth of merchandise from Kohl's department store by patrolmen Riaz Motani and Mark Troutman.

Carol Backstadt, 50, of Farmingdale was charged Oct. 28 with shoplifting $303.99 in clothes from Kohl's department store. Patrolmen Dave MacNeil and Phil Thompson made the arrest.

An 11-year-old New Brunswick boy was charged Oct. 28 with simple assault for throwing a partially filled water bottle at a teacher at the Coastal Learning Center and striking her in the forehead. Cpl. Greg Howell and Patrolman David Levine made the arrest.

Douglas Oakley, 40, of West Farms Road was charged Oct. 30 with driving while intoxicated, refusing a breath test and reckless driving by patrolmen Jason Baratta, Jason Symons, Fred Bauer, Matt Cherney and Mike Martin.

A 16-year-old township male was charged Oct. 28 with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana and drug paraphernalia by Patrolman Leonard Maltese.

A jacket and the contents of the pockets totaling $982 in value were stolen off the back of a bar stool Oct. 29. Patrolman P. Kuanse took the report.

A 10-foot white fiberglass rowboat was reported stolen from a resident's yard to Patrolman David Smith. The theft occurred between Oct. 28 and Nov. 1.

A 27-year-old borough man was charged Oct. 30 with criminal simulation of a motor-vehicle insurance identification card by Patrolman Deron Ilarraza.

Borough woman Jacquelyn D. Russell, 46, was charged Nov. 1 with theft by deception, forgery and uttering a forged document by Detective Eliot Ramos.
