The Harbor News publishes a Police Incident Report to inform residents of incidents, criminal activities, and police responses occurring in town. As those charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty, the report does not include names. It may be edited for space and content.

An 18-year-old man of Eastwood Road was arrested at 9:55 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or both. He was processed and released on a $500 non-surety bond. He was scheduled to appear in court in Middletown on Dec. 5.

A 19-year-old man of Elmwood Street was arrested at 10:46 p.m. and charged with possession of alcohol by a person under the legal drinking age and delivery of alcohol to minors. He was processed and released on a $500 non-surety bond. He was scheduled to appear in court in Middletown on Dec. 6.

A 24-year-old Deep River man was issued a motor vehicle summons at 2:30 p.m. charging him with failure to display registration plate, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, failure to have insurance, misuse of registration plates, and operating a motor vehicle while under suspension. He is scheduled to appear in court in Middletown on Dec. 5.

A 24-year-old man of Maple Avenue was arrested at 6:26 p.m. and charged with burglary in the third degree and larceny in the sixth degree, following an incident at the Acton Public Library. He was processed and held in lieu of $5,000 bond. Subsequent to his arrest he was additionally charged with possession of narcotics. He was processed and assigned a $500 non-surety bond on this charge. He was scheduled to appear in court in Middletown on Nov. 28.

A 33-year-old man of College Street was issued a motor vehicle summons at 10:18 a.m. charging him with operating a motor vehicle while using a hand-held device and operating a motor vehicle while under suspension. He is scheduled to appear in court in Middletown on Dec. 12.

A 27-year-old Clinton man was arrested at 4:10 p.m. and charged with breach of peace and operating a motor vehicle while under suspension. He was processed and released on a $500 non-surety bond. He was scheduled to appear in court in Middletown on Dec. 1. Subsequent to the arrest, he was arrested on an outstanding warrant held by the Middletown Police Department charging him with failure to appear. He was turned over to the custody of the Middletown Police Department.

A 22-year-old Madison man was arrested at 3:34 p.m. on the 300 block of Flat Rock Place and charged with larceny in the third degree. He was processed and released on a $2,500 non-surety bond and issued a Dec. 7 court date in Middletown.

A 22-year-old man of West Main Street was arrested at 8:46 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or both, operating without a driver's license, and failure to maintain the proper lane. He was processed and released on a $500 cash bond and issued a Dec. 5 court date in Middletown.

According to the written report of Trooper Tretter at 5:48 a.m., a 51 year-old man of Spring Valley, New York, "Lost control on a snow covered roadway hitting the guardrail off the roadway right." The driver received a court summons for traveling too fast for conditions. He was transported to the Essex clinic for treatment of minor injuries.

A 31-year-old Hamden man was arrested at 12:28 a.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or both and failure to maintain the proper lane. He was processed and released on a $500 non-surety bond and issued a Dec. 5 court date in Middletown.

A 16-year-old Norwich boy was arrested at 10:13 p.m. on an outstanding warrant and charging with failure to appear in the second degree. He was processed and released on a $1,000 bond and issued a Nov. 30 court date in Middletown.

A 22-year-old Norwich man was arrested at 9:25 a.m. and charged with harassment in the second degree and falsely reporting an incident. He was processed and held in lieu of a $5,000 bond and turned over to the Middletown court for arraignment the following day.

A 32-year-old Middletown man was arrested at 12:38 a.m. and charged with disorderly conduct. According to Trooper Weiner's written report, "the subject dragged his girlfriend down a flight of stairs after an argument." The accused was processed and released on a $500 cash bond and issued a Dec. 7 court date in Middletown.

A 28-year-old Clinton man was arrested at 7:50 p.m. and charged with breach of peace. He was processed and held overnight in lieu of a $5,000 bond. He was arraigned the following day in Middletown court.

A Clinton man of unknown age was arrested on Route 153 near Flat Rock Place at 8:25 p.m. and charged with harassment in the second degree and interfering with an emergency call. According to Trooper Gosselin's written report, the accused "Called 911 five times from Tigermart. The third call the [accused] stated there was a fire at the cinema." He was processed and held overnight in lieu of a $5,000 surety bond for arraignment the following day in Middletown court.

A 27-year-old Branford man was arrested 9:26 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or both. He was processed and released on a $500 non-surety bond and issued a Dec. 12 court date in Middletown. His vehicle was towed to Mal's Auto.

A 34-year-old Hartford man was issued a court summons at 5:40 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle while under suspension, after he was stopped for speeding. He was processed and released on a $250 non-surety bond and issued a Dec. 12 court date in Middletown.

An 18-year-old woman of Bright Hill Drive was arrested at 6:55 a.m. on an outstanding warrant charging her with conspiracy to commit and making a false statement in the second degree.

A 16-year-old girl of Riverside Drive was arrested at 1:11 p.m. and charged with burglary in the third degree, conspiracy to commit burglary in the third degree, and larceny in the sixth degree.

A 14-year-old juvenile was arrested at 1:11 p.m. and charged with burglary in the third degree and conspiracy to commit burglary in the third degree.

A 17-year-old boy of Long Hill Road was arrested at 1:11 p.m. and charged with burglary in the third degree, conspiracy to commit burglary in the third degree, and larceny in the sixth degree.

Between the hours of 8:30 p.m. and 11 p.m. police issued six written warnings and three verbal warnings to motorists for various moving violations on Old Post Road, East Main Street, Glenwood Road, West Main Street, Long Hill Road, and the I-95 exit 63 on ramp.

A reported motor vehicle accident was investigated on East Main Street at Liberty Street at 4:45 p.m. A second motor vehicle accident was investigated on Killingworth Turnpike near North High Street at 5:34 p.m. No details were available in either accident.

Between the hours of 12:44 a.m. and 4:42 a.m. police issued nine written warnings, two verbal warnings, and one infraction to motorists for moving violations on Killingworth Turnpike, Glenwood Road, Steven Road, Old Post Road, Pear Street, East Main Street, and Nod Road.

Between the hours of 7:20 p.m. and 10:42 p.m. police issued six written warnings, one verbal warning, and one infraction for moving violations on Grove Street, Glenwood Road, West Main Street, and East Main Street.

A 50-year-old woman of Shore Road was issued a court summons for operating a motor vehicle while under suspension, no insurance, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, and improper signaling for turns or stopping.

During the week of Nov. 23 to 29, Clinton Police conducted 98 motor vehicle stops for various moving violations, investigated five reports of suspicious motor vehicles, responded to one disabled motor vehicle, one vehicle lockout, 11 motor vehicle accidents, and issued one parking ticket.

Police also responded to five medical emergencies or assists, 17 false burglar alarms, one false fire alarm, seven reports of criminal mischief, five reports of suspicious persons or activities, nine public hazards, two reports of harassment, six reports of larceny, two burglaries, one domestic dispute, four general disputes, one juvenile complaint, one noise complaint, and five animal nuisance complaints.
